I wouldn't normally shop there as not generally amongst the cheapest, but stick a 15% discount in there and they can be. Bought a Manfrotto 680B monopod for cheaper than anywhere else, £37.49 including first class delivery.

Do you still get the 15% discount if it says 5-7 days, it says only things marked as "In Stock" do, but the monopod you ordered doesn't, did you get the discount?

I got discount and it was in stock when I got it. Maybe I got the last one :-) You enter discount code before you confirm, i.e. at step 5 in checkout process, so you can always see and if no discount then don't confirm. Th 40D looks a great buy but not in stock at the mo'. I will get a second one if it comes in stock as it also got a Canon Cashback at the mo' I think.

Makes a 1Ds III almost affordable - under £4,000 :)

Nope, just reminding any potential buyers to check with Canon rather than assuming - there are companies out there who advertise the rebate as an incentive to buy even though they themselves are not official dealers.

Well they say they only sell UK stock and not grey imports and they have a banner advert for the rebate, so if the rebate was not valid I suspect they would fall foul of the law.

I have never seen places advertising rebates and not actually being eligible. Do you have links to any?

Canon EOS 40D BODY

* £617.99
* (inc. VAT)
* Save £182.00

What is £182.00? the rebate + 15%discount?

Off list price ... the reduction/rebate then comes after the ticket price ... but they ain't in stock anyway so doesn't apply.
