Swamp Sparrow

Lots of the usual gang around today, but the Swamp Sparrow stood out as a unique visitor.

This is a nemesis bird for me and i have one half decent shot. I would be happy with this.

Same here. I know they are around, but I have never seen one.

Nice catch here, Carl! I guess the males like to sing at night as well as during the day. Very cool bird!

Thanks Gary. I actually thought it was a Song Sparrow before I put the lens up to shoot.

Thanks Dennis. I didn't know that about the song, though I've heard Song Sparrows sing in the dead of night.
