These were taken on the 4th right after we had a fairly heavy snowfall. The place is called Jump River and it's about an hour's drive north of where I live. It's a favorite camping and hiking area for my family and I. We're going back up there again next weekend. The flooding is really heavy this year with all the snow we've had this year; over 7 feet. It's really fabulous to see it. LMK what you think of these images. There is definitely no lacking of material to shoot here! LOL! :)

Hi Cynthia,

I dont see any thing interesting in the image..my eyes kept wandering in the image to search for something interesting...
I am trying not to be rude..but you need to compose the image again...

I didn't ask for a critque on my photos. Was just sharing them. I took them for personal usage in the first place. If you didn't like my photos you didn't need to comment on them, somple as that.

No need to get defensive. If you are so adverse to criticism then perhaps you should think twice before posting something up.

While I agree with the thought "if you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything" and while we do have a "Critique" forum here, you'll often time see constructive criticism here in the sharing section as well.

If you expect compliments, you should also expect criticism. I am sure Avi was just trying to help and had no ill intentions.

Tiffany,

It's melted now. That was from the last big snow storm we had earlier this month. We've had 70 degree weather here, but today it's SNOWING and cold! Ugh..... Might have to consider a move more south! LOL!

I still want to get up there and take pictures of the flooding, but the weather is just not cooperating.
