I'm assembling a portfolio slowly but have yet to order prints because I'm not sure how to display them. I was thinking 8x10 sizes and would love to have them in some kind of slide in album, possibly like a wedding album, then I can change them and update as I get better, but I'm not sure. I shoot kiddos mostly and would love to have something that I can just pull out and show. Any suggestions? What do you guys do? How do you display your work? Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I didn't really know where to ask.
Thanks
Kristin

I have a few different portfolios and depending on which one I take is driven by the type of work I am after. I have there is not a great deal of value in takng a whole bunch of kiddie sports shots to a couple that are after me for a wedding. I have some that are 8x10 but most of them are a minimum of 11x14 and then in some cases I put a matte on them so that they are easily handled without getting fingerprints all over the print part. The 8x10 ones are in a presentation binder and the larger ones I just carry the prints in an artists case.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Normally how many photos would you put into a portfolio?

I've actually made some books or proof portfolios with mpix. Have my portoflio printed and binded with my logo on as the front cover.
