Ran into a friend up there and Jody was kind enough to let me borrow her 300F2.8 for a full day! Thing is nice but a TANK. Also used a 70-200 F2.8 and a 17-70L. I blew a new 580 II flash with my 1D! These were all with no flash, I would like not to use only when a flash is needed. But mine was broken so I had no choice.....

3 and 9 are superb, very very well done. On a few of the berm shots with the 300, you needed a little higher perspective to avoid cropping out the lower part of the image.

300mm is awesome. Even though it's a tank you've taken some great shots. Well done.

Oh these pics make me really miss racing. They are all well done in my mind. How many shots did you actually take that day?

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Very nice. Looks like the weather was good as well. Hope to use my 70-200 F2.8IS on bikes and cars this year.
Just bought myself a FOES Fly for the trails as well!

They look good. I wanted to go up there to shoot the road stuff but I had too much going on last weekend.
