Camera Shake and Tripod Test...

I recently learned that a good tripod makes a big difference for portraits. I have a cheap Velbon and in Live-View on the 40D you can see the screen shake when you touch the camera. Seeing is believing!

So... what is your recommended tripod?

You are likely going to get a couple dozen recommendations. Some will be the same.

I use Manfrotto; probably because the camera shop where I deal stocks them so I can judge them (in the US, they're often called Bogen).
