Shooting Outdoor Glam

Looking to take come Glam (Bathing Suit/Lingerea) in a wide open area, this weekend, i only have the Kit Lens with my Canon Digital Rebel, and need a few pointers on shooting....

Get out of the direct sunlight for softer light - under a tree, beside a building, etc.

Use some diffusers and scrims, and perhaps some gold/silver reflectors to reflect the light back to where you want it.

I'll post a few of the shots after i take them this weekend! i found a perfect place where my Model (my wife) will feel comfortable being with a sexy bikini.

Wait, is Sunlight not your friend when shooting outdoor glam? Is over cast better, so i use Flash?

Don't shoot at noon. Plan for morning or late afternoon when the sun is lower and facing the direction of the water (if you are at the beach).

Also I like sillouette (sp?) shots during sunset when the sun it hitting the water.

Light overcast is the best weather, by far, for outdoor glamour. Think of the clouds as a giant softbox or a giant scrim.
