some recent shots with carbon rig, but I'm not satisfied with the stability. Now I support the boom with cable, but I think the weight of carbon is to less in compare to alupipes and so I keep the flexibility of the cable - I need another support with no flexibilty like small alupipes to reduce the bounce.

it was a 8 or 10 second exposure. And it was a parking garage that had a super smooth surface.

some shots are taken with 15 seconds. If the car turns round, you've get much blur - I don't use PS to add blur.
The shots were taken in an industrial area.

what sort of ND filters are people using? I bought an ND4 and an ND8 on ebay (the cheapy ones) to allow me to take 2second rig-shots in day light but the photos always end up looking washed out, unsharp and gray, to the extent that I can't really cure it on photoshop.

Is this the fault of bad quality ND filters? My rig shots without direct sunlight look great so I'm just wondering its worth buying better quality ND filters?

We bought the Lightcraft Workshop Fader ND variable ND filter. You can get them on eBay, but beware of cheap imitations.

I think it makes no sense to buy quality camera equipment and after this to srew some cheap glass - it's better to spend your money in qualitiy filters.
