Anyone know where I can buy some rigs via online (in the US)
Not looking to spend over $300.

Or is it possible to turn my tripod into a automotive rig?

The pipes that you attach to the clamps to take your camera out over the car.

QUOTED IMAGE

I would say thats two images megered and shopped.

One of the static car, then one with movement.

The wheels/background then braught back in using layers at a guess.

My only thought for this being the static reflection in the body work and a slight issue with the top of the left rear wheel - looks like something going on there.

I might be wrong though and a cracking shot none the less!

i think you're right. theres a slight "halo"??? in front of the front wheel. this actually may be one image with motion blur on the BG and a radial blur on the wheels. i used to play with that method before we got a rig lol. either way its a good chop

nope... one image, have the raw file to prove it. shot with a rig no photoshop magic here. the only post processing work was chopping out the rig itself, minor exposure adjustments in camera raw (which is the source of the 'halo' near the front wheel), sharpening, and color correction.

Nice one, do you know whats happening with the distortion on the top of the left rear wheel?

Damn cracking shot though mate like I said - it was only a theroy, wasn't trying to call you out or anything.

There's also similar distortion along the line in the pavement, makes it look a bit like a screenshot from GT5 or something.

Thanks, no worries :) I just wanted to clarify...

The distortion might be due to resizing? Check this full size and let me know if you still see it. http://i1031.photobucket.com …0/Jon%20M3/IMG_4553-1.jpg (external link)

Yeah there's no distortion in that photo so it's definitely from the resizing. However the line on the ground still looks funky, as if excessive sharpening has made some artifacts more visible, and also behind the car.
