The suction cups left mean marks on the hood of the car. A great shot ruined by round circles on the hood. We tried buffing out the marks with wax, but no luck. We cleaned the hood and suction cups with Windex prior to attaching the suction cups. The cup with the downward force (i.e. closer to the camera) left the worst marks. We have the car scheduled for a professional buffing, and I hope that $150 job gets them out. Otherwise, I am buying him a new hood.

I am sorry for you, I hope you can get them out. That's the reason why I only mount my cups on windows. I am way to afraid to leave marks on the panels of Ferrari's or other exotics.
