Steelbluesleepr thanks for the inspiration. I love that second shot, that I had to go try to rig two cars myself.

First try at it.

Same feel here, using the distortion to my advantage, chasing the light.

no I'm not. That color is fairly rare though only like 300 cars made that color.

Dom87SS: how thick you use in your boom? It is aluminum

Never measured it and yes aluminium. Its a rigpro kit so Andrew would know best about it.

First time using the rig in ages, so had a play with my missus' car, definitely room for improvement! Super quick edit as I was trying to focus on other things. This was shot at absolute last light hence the graininess in the shadows too.

I'll probably remove that light pole behind the car later on as it's a bit distracting.

I'd be willing to bet the car is actually blue...

Had a first go yesterday. Used a 4m boom and 17mm lens. I think I might need a bit longer boom to lessen the distortion..?

Exactly. 4.6 meters is what I consider minimum, and that would be on 16mm. It depends on the angle, of course, but this is a good front 3/4. Try 5.5 meters, you'll love it :).

5.5 - 6m is good for a 3/4 view.
