Evening All,
I spent my first ever day at Silverstone yesterday, and was not to keen on the place.
Felt I was too far away and the fences were like a prison.
My shots were nothing special, but salvaged a few ok ones.
If ever there was a place for big ,super dooper lenses this is the place, and lest I forget,a good pair of cutters or a purple vest !!

Some nice shots here, shame about the pea soup. But it does add atmosphere :-)

 Silverstone isn't so bad. Shooting in fog is tricky and needs a change in technique but there's no real reason why you can't still get some decent shots. What was impressive was the way the place managed to maintain a pea-souper in half a gale on Sunday. That was a clever trick!

These are good attempts for a first visit.

Thanks Glenn,that good encouragement.
Must say given a bit of warmth and sunshine I am sure it would be a different story.
Struggling round dressed for winter is not much fun ,carrying all the kit ,but I did learn plenty .
Cheers,
Pons:)
