Skateboard Pics

Thanks for checking in. Had to take a series of pictures for class. Used a 10-22mm for all pics and had a fill-in flash. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

#5 is the best by far--it could be a lot better had the landing been in the frame. Regardless it is a great photo and something you should be proud of. I don't like the ass-shots at all, and the rest all could have been made better had you not centered them. Good work regardless.

Although these are great in B&W, nice and contrasty, I would be keen to see what the colour ones look like (for some reason I usually preffer sporting shots in colour:S). Do you still happen to have them even though it was for class?

I'm liking shots 2 and 5 the best - the timing of the shots are good. They both show the full scene of what the skaters doing (including the ramp and rail). And the exposure looks quite good - fill flash worked good. Only thing, try to avoid butt-shots like in 6 and 7.

Thanks for the criticism, guys. I appreciate the feedback. I'll definitely take them into consideration when I go and shoot some more tomorrow (hopefully). It's my first time taking pics of something like this, so I'm glad I did an okay job. I'll post more if I get the chance.
