on the first shot its always a matter of opinion really. it has nice rim lighting but in this case i may agree with big the exposure would be alot easier to hit with the light on the subject.

One of the best sports togs on here likes shooting into the sun because of the rim light around the subject

in #1 the Horizon is leveled the field they play on has a bad crown where the center of the field is higher then the ides and corners and it very noticable.

I will have to remember for next time these suggestions.

even if the field is slanted its preferred to have all of your horizons level, you can correct it either with your crop or by going to...i think its edit?-Distort-Lens Correction

Then the school needs to plumb the sign post and the verticals in their wrought iron fence... ;)

I usually say that the need is for the vertical lines need to be plumbed as that is what you should use as an indicator if there are any present, but it is normally referred to as 'levelling horizons'.

At any rate, the vertical lines are askew in #1 regardless of the field condition.
