editing tiff file?

hi , im a new user of D1 and i 've got a problem, after i convert image to tif 16bit ,i realise that i cannot editing the images in photoshop? can anyone tell me wat to do if i wanna do some editing? Thanks

Photoshop does not support all editing functions for 16-bit images, although you should be able to do levels/curves adjustments.

You can either convert your images straight to 8-bit, or do what editing PS will do in 16-bit before dropping down to 8-bit to finish off (Image->Mode->8 bit in PS5 or 6, don't know about other versions).
