I would say no, only because they are two separate options, why would they be separate if they were the same. I have no technical knowledge of nor do I know if this is true, but I can only assume if there are two options there must be some difference in the two.

are you talking about Apple RGB and Adobe RGB 1998? I don't know of an argb color space.

You know what they say about "assume". I didn't even think about Apple RGB. I figured the question was just about the slang use of aRGB and the actual Adobe RGB 1998.
