The first one is great, will watch #2 tonight, I don't expect to be dissapointed. First deals with studio lights, this one is more geared to off camera flash / strobist style.

He does a good job of explaining how to use off camera flash and overcome limits of small flash systems. If you watch the videos realize that Joe goes in the great details about using the Nikon CLS system (almost makes me want to shoot with Nikon). However, there are similarities in how you would be able to do this with Canon's system. If you shoot in manual mode, with manual flashes or some sort of combination, watching how to use CLS may be a waste of time for you. I looked at it as a learning experience on camera systems that I don't use. As someone who has just started using CLS it's great info. Next I hope one of em puts up a series on using pocketwizards with a heterogenous assembly of flashes. If history is any guide this will go up 2 weeks after I've finally gotten my triggers and learned the basics of using them on my own =) Canon 20D, Nikon D300 & assorted stuff...

It uses Nikon SB 800s exclusively and is set up using the nikon creative lighting system, but there is good info on rim lighting and other effects even for those of you who dont have those.
