Like the composition... all you need are some interesting clouds.
There´s something about the overall color that i don´t like (too saturated?), but there are people with more experience that can give you a better critique on that part. Nice picture.

I have similar concerns about the color balance. Was the water and sky really that color, and did you use a circular polarizer?

BTW, in your avatar, the lighting is very "Rembrandt" but could be improved with a little less contrast.

I like the composition. its nice.

The sky and water looks very similar, you want to do a bit of editing to make them more separate.

Great composition... very peaceful. The colours aren't my favourite hues, but they're not bad either. I can't agree Ghosh's idea of deliberately altering them to emphasise the water/sky distinction. On the contrary, I think the seemlessness of it is part of the picture's appeal, and that the distant land does just enough to delineate them nicely. Depending on taste, you might consider cloning out the few pixels of boat on the extreme left. Cheers, Tony

The water may be that color. But I doubt the trees are. I think the color balence if off as well. It definatley has a blue tint to it.

I also found that there was a strong blue cast to the image when I checked the numbers.

The composition is gorgeous. My monitor displays your image as soft, under exposed, and too much of a blue cast. all are Minor fixes in Photoshop.

Nice composition. I removed the blue cast (it really is there) and it still pops. In fact the red in the boats jumps at you. Very nice.
