We have been using a product by Drytac called "Leather." It used to come in rolls 22" wide by 150' long and was about 7 mils thick. It laid flat and had a fairly light backing paper, much the same as I find on the 3M adhesive we use. Got it from a couple of vendors in Canada.

I say used to because, apparently, they no longer make this product.

Rec'd a 10' sample roll of "Antique Leather" for a try. The laminate seems more rigid and the backing paper is way heavier, the product is very difficult to work with. It retains the cylindrical shape of the roll and refuses to lay flat. You almost need 4 arms to work with the stuff.

Anyone else satisfied with another product? Any other sources for the discontinued "Leather"?

I never have tried lamination. I store loose prints flat, I matte many and stand them on shelves or else I matte/frame/hang.

I'm curious about this myself. I may experiment with the craft store lamintors.

Tell us about it. I feel like I am missing out on something.
