First game of the season (finally) in Maine. Yes the snow is now gone. Taken with the lowly 10d whilst the 1D is out of commission.

Nice shots Joe, I just shot my first baseball game earlier this week and while I thought I knew the game, I didn't know it well enough to get great shots. It was compounded by the fact a high cyclone fence was around the diamond too!

Yeah, it is a good "backup" camera. But right now it is the primary with a Rebel Xt (yuck) backing me up. To quote the old Cinderella song, "Don't know what you've got, til it's gone." Fortunately I used to shoot film and still remember how to be patient and anticipate instead of rapid firing everying in sight.

wow, 10D those look good. I agree with the patience part
of it... less images to go thru and less wear and tear...
