macro ruler

I like flowers and angles trumpets .
Is there some kind of a ruler setup so you can see the size of flowers - parts ?
Some kind of clamp to hold it ?

Not really sure what you are trying to do, but if you want to know the size/magnification of the subject- the easiest way is just to take a picture of a ruler after taking your subject shot without altering the focus setting on the camera (you will need to be using manual focus for both shots to do this).

Yes, there is. Take a look in hobby shops for something like this.

Of course, this means that your subjects will need to be mounted in a home studio setup or something. It's a bit impractical to do that out in the open.

Thanks Pete , I have a couple of those . They won't go tight enough to support the weight of ruler and are really awkward to use except on a bench / table .
What I have done is to use a inch wide [about 24 mm] tape measure , but it only shows one direction .
