I had recently posted for some help on some ideas of posing for an e-session where the groom to be was in a wheelchair. Here is the original thread https://photography-on-the.net …ght=engagement+wheelchairI was asked by some to post when I finished the session. i have finished PP a few so I will share what I have so far. It was a challenge!! Of course the obvious of him not being able to get out of the chair, but we were confined to one area for the session, so I had to make do. This was a free session since the groom to be is my cousin. They mostly wanted b&w, but requested the first pic in color for the save-the-date cards. My settings were ISO 100, f/5.6 ss125 shot in RAW. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

You did a great job on these! #1 is perfect and also really like #3 though it would have been better if he was looking at her.

When i showed my husband the pics, he said the same about #3. I think it would have been better also if he was looking at her, but I thought it was still showable because of the adoring look on her face.

This was done very tastefully and the pictures turned out great! I really like 1 and 4. Something about #4 really is sweet and special. Nice job!

Nice job, I like them all except the last one; it makes him appear short and stumpy.

Nice job on the posing, though I do have something to say about how you converted the images to b&w. Did you just desaturate them? There's still some color in my eye. I know there are various method to achieve b&w (and this is probably yours), but converting the image to Grayscale takes out the sepia tones in the image.

Just thought I'd mention it.

Nice series - the toning is a good call. In #5 there's a spot of light on her head that resembles her part, like a bald spot...probably looks that way due to the size and compression...but maybe burn.

These look very nice... The last one is the only one that bugs me a little, it looks like he is sliding off of his chair.

Very Nice set.

By the way, what is HHCC? I couldn't find a meaning on the "netlingo" site I use to interpret all of the acronyms I don't know...

Thanks all!

mantra_sone: the b&w was not a desaturate. it was a new action I was trying out. I will try a few other ways to keep the sepia out. I just rather liked the light sepia tone to the photos. Thanks for your opinion! ;) It means a lot!

mick emmett- lol he is short & stumpy! he is paralyzed from the knees down & has no muscle I guess you can say. his leg growth was also stunted. thank you for your comment!

Philco- I will take care of that blow out on her head, thanks!

Thanks to all for your comments! Anyone else?

These images are really good. I do agree that the angle in #5 isn't the most flattering but he is who he is- as you said short n' stumpy. :)

#4 is the best shot IMO and it really reflects some emotion to me!! I love the choice they made for their save the date. They are a lovely couple and I wish them the best!! Post some wedding pics will ya??
