Are you saying that from the photos that you have seen here, your 18-55 produces better photos? Im second photographer at weddings - and I need fast lens for low light indoor shoots of one person or small groups of people. So I would like to see some photos of indoor portraits. And if you can tell me how god focusing is in low light situations. Tnx. Is it the price that's luring you?

DaylightPointer Hatchling 1 post Joined May 2011 Location: Battle Creek, MI More info | Earlier this year I was in the market for a 28mm lens and I was trying to justify buying the f/1.8 vs. the f/2.8. Then the earthquake in Japan happened and lens prices skyrocketed. The f/2.8 became my only option at the time and I've gotta say, its performed quite well. This is definitely a lens that if you understand the limitations, and work within those, you can get some really great shots.

Hinson Goldmember More info | Feb 21, 2012 11:42 | #74 Blair; love the 'piggy' photo. Yes, this lens would be just a tad wide on the FF but not enough to be a bother. It's perfect on my crop body (60D).
Shot at ISO 6400
