Blair; love the 'piggy' photo. Yes, this lens would be just a tad wide on the FF but not enough to be a bother. It's perfect on my crop body (60D).

I'm finding not that wide now. It seems to have a lot less distortion that my 17-40mmL set at 28mm.

I find myself using it more for video.
Great little lens, especially the price I paid for it! :)
Here's a quick comparison against the 17-40L

Sold my 17-40L while I was shooting with the 5D so don't know how it would act on a crop body but the extra 11mm might be fun to play with. Temps are supposed to go over 70degrees tomorrow so I'll definitely be out on the bike and get some outdoor photos with the 28mm and 60D for the first time. I'll post my results.

Here's another shot I did the other day. SOOC other than slight exposure tweak.

I was looking to buy 1 of these second hand but the prices seem to have shot up, around £200 on the bay, utter madness

Yeah, that is steep for used but it appears they are out of stock most places. Keep looking though, the lens is worth the hunt.

Just picked one of these up yesterday, this is my first as my "way back when" post on the first page didnt come about as the guy decided to keep the lens and camera.

First tests are impressive, I will walk around a bit today to grab a few shots to post up. ;)
Maybe even a Comparo against my 24-105mm. :)

Definitely lookin for one of these now. I can work within the limitations and really enjoy the wider angle. And even though the AF sounds slow, I shoot exclusively manual focusing now so it will be a luxury, LOL

I just bought this lens (used). Can't wait until I get it! I'm all for economy priced lenses that work well! :)

I think you'll like it. Mine is pretty much glued to my 60D.
