Ok, I've noticed over the years that my name should have been STEVE.

For some strange reason, the absolute most common mistake is for someone to call me that.

Happens in person, at conferences, and, now, in mass e-mails.

So, now, I proclaim myself 'Stam' - the combination of Steve + Sam.

Maybe you've just been getting my husbands emails?

But really, consider yourself lucky you don't have to live with my last name. It's easier just to spell it out when someone asks for it.

Well, Lucy Roberts isn't my real name. :p I have a Spanish last name that sounds nothing like it is spelled. :D

I can totally see how your spelling would be a problem though.

I get called Dickhead quite a bit. While not my legal name, it's not exactly inaccurate either.
