ISO 3200...night soccer...

This is a pretty good representation of the results I got tonight under the lights at 3200 ISO....keep or crap? They look usable, but noisy. I don't have Noise Ninja....duh, like you couldn't tell. Let me know what you think.

wow, is that heavily cropped? It seems extra noisy for a 40d at iso 3200. Even my d70 at 1600 and pushed a stop in raw doesnt look that bad. Nice timing though.


30mm, 50mm, 85mm, and some zooms here and there.
All nikon :D

Yes, it is cropped pretty tight....like I said, I'm new to this...I'll post another one that is not cropped so much....

For a happy compromise between the two i would go for something like this. I did a different crop, some curves, and ran it through noiseninja.

Fantastic performance at 3200. In my opinion, a noisy picture is better than a blurry one. And those are good enough to use for me.
