So I borrowed some lighting from a few friends, and finally got to try my hand at some studio work. I've never tried anything like this before, but I think I've read every lesson on Strobist. Anyways, I wanted to go for the high-key look. The background was a bed sheet from Wal-Mart. You can see the iron I was using to get the wrinkles out, haha. Wish I would have kicked up the back lights a little, but live and learn. These are post processed only slightly. How'd I do? C&C appreciated.

Strobist: Triggered with Canon ST-E2
Canon 430EX @ 1/8 Camera left at body level through an umbrella.
Canon 580EX @ 1/4 Camera right and high through an umbrella.
Canon 580EXII @ 1/16 Back camera right on the background with a gobo.
Nikon SB-28 @ 1/16 On flash slave camera left and back with a gobo.

Shooting was:
Canon 20D ISO 100 1/250 f5.6
I only had 400 speed on my film camera, so I shot a lot and bracketed and prayed. It also only allowed a max synch of 1/125, so I had to convert the exposure on my digital to my 35mm.
Elan 7E ISO 400 1/125 f16
(The film turned out fairly well. Granted I had a lot of incorrectly exposed images from my bracketing, but I had several I liked.)

I have no idea about high key - I just wanted to say that I love her eyes in no.2!

One day I shall have a list, for now I have passion.

You might consider doing a minor Clean up under the right arm in number 1. Nice shots and a very lovely model.
