All shots shot at 10mm, ISO 100, 1/250, f/7.1 with 400D and Tokina 10-17mm fisheye. One Vivitar 285HV was off-camera and fired via eBay slave for each shot.
Little bit of blur on this :/

Extremely happy with these two:

Decided to make a mock magazine cover of the last one:

Love the mock cover. How far away were you from the stairs? Also, it looks like he's going to do a 50-50 of something of the sort. I would have the shot that you have, and one of him on the rail. For all you know, he could just be ollieing over the rail .

I was closer than you see in the picture (since its a fisheye). I had to be on my knees holding my camera in front of me (no viewfinder, just a few test shots) so you wouldn't see any feet or anything. I am pretty bummed at how little jake levels out his switch ollies, since on a normal ollie/kickflip/anything, the trick would have been past the pop stage and leveled by then. getting a ton of negative c&c elsewhere for "too early," when in reality I took it at the right time, my subject just doesn't level till the last few steps before landing. oh well. the front board picture made my week, though.

Of course, blame it on the skater

But yeah, I see what you mean... Looks like you guys have a sick park out there. We have a bowl, and an indoor, but you need a guardian sig for the indoor, and im just to lazy to have my parents sign it:lol:

We have a public park out here that was free no strings attached yadda yadda just like the majority of them, then a kid got a gun put to his head there by some thugs. So the park was closed for a year, then they installed these gates and have an ID card system. If you're under 18, you need a parents signature to obtain your ID card. It's a shame because it's a great park, but me, being almost 18 (but not quite)--I don't want to bring my goddamn parents there just so I can go skate. Plus it's like an hour away.

The pictured park is 2 minutes from my house :)

Nice pictures! If you measure the ambient light, and underexpose like 2 f stops, your flash becomes your primary lightsource, and you will avoid the blur/ghosting effect
