I think I may be getting one of these ![]() the only thing with the G9 is noise...it's not easy to majorly manipulate a photo in photoshop because there is noise issues. However, I just assume that I won't be doing effect shots with it unless I'm ready to do major NR. Otherwise I've got no complaints about it at all. (wish it had a slightly longer zoom but that's not an issue for the most part...if it was my only camera, it would be an issue I guess) .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS

The digital zoom is really the same as cropping a photo in post processing and I'd rather control the IQ by cropping it myself. But thanks again .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS

Honestly I was so pleased with the shots from this trip that it sealed itself a place in the gearbag. .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS
