Wondering what everyone thinks of this poster I put together for a local basketball team.

I like it but think the word "heat" in the lower sentence should stand out more from the background. What about the other team members?

That is very creative. I like the message also. You did a great job here.

You should change Eric's socks to black, and center his name over his head a little more

And Move Spencer's name up a little, it's too close to his head

And touch up the masking job on the back of Andrew's right leg

And if you could duplicate the Font on their jerseys , that would be awesome!

And on my monitor at least, the players' skin has a bit of a yellow cast to it.

And I wish I could do half as good;)

Great suggestions! I will start working on it right away. This was done for a parent that wanted her two sons and their best friend in a poster. I am going to work on something for all the teams 3rd through Highschool.

Kyle.

Good job on this - what did you do this in? Did you have a template? I'd like to add posters to my repitoire too!

Great job for your first run at it. I agree, very creative, not your typical, standard sports template.

I used photoshop CS3. No template, just using things I have learned to come up with something new. Here is the same poster with the suggested changes. I can not use the font that is on the jerseys (wish I could) as it is not a font and was hand cut by the person that made the jerseys.

Kyle.

That was a tough one to correct. I think I took the blue out of the shoes now and hope I did not change the skin color. Thanks for the suggestion/obervation.

Kyle.

Still quite a bit of blue in the shoes. In this instance it's a pretty easy fix. Use the marquee tool and draw one rectangle around all the shoes. Use hue/sat and select BLUE from the drop down, then just desaturate.

Edited prior photo to keep # of photos low. The shoes should be black and gray now.

If it would not be too much work for you, i think it might look a little better if they were standing on the lava...
The Ventura Heat "Title" on the most heading (top) of the image.
Great work!
