Saw a lot of "firsts" for the season today, got a few shots in too.

Slate-Colored Junco-hopefully one of the last! They are known as "snow birds" around here.
Male Purple Finch-they've been around a week or so now.
Female Rose-Breasted Grosbeak (saw a male today for the first time this year too but only got a feeder shot)
Male White-Throated Sparrow-this was at Presque Isle State Park and they've been around awhile now.




And no, we don't have snow year round.
We have a forecast for possible wet snow tomorrow night, probably blowin' in from your neck of the woods! Please keep it up there!!!!
