First time poster over here and of course it looks like there were quite a few of us in Peoria, IL last Sunday (4/19). Hope you guys did not get as sunburned as I did
As you already heard from Andy, haze, clouds, etc, etc were terrible that day. Everything was delayed while they stalled (no pun intended) to get the larger acts in the air. Most of the morning/early afternoon had a 1000ft ceiling, which means low shows, which are never the greatest. Not until early afternoon did the ceiling start to break and the big acts started to get fired up.
Was fortunate enough to get a ride up with the Golden Knights jump team. What a bunch of stand-up guys (and gals) there. Very, very fun to be a part of that . Thanks Greg!
Towards the end of the Angel's show the sky was really nice, short of some haze on those long shots but at least the inward shots were good and clear.
I will post a few in here but the full gallery of shots is here; http://www.webtrendsguy.com/prairieas/![]()
The haze was pretty bad up top so why not get creative with the shots I say and play with the colors
