I'm very new here, with just finding the site a couple weeks ago. I'm also very new to photography, but have really been enjoying it so far.

This was my first time shooting sports with any sort of decent/good lens (shot with Canon 70-200mm f/4)

I'm starting to learn about PP but know next to nothing so far, so not much done there yet, except a little cropping.

C&C welcome. Feel free to be harsh. It doesn't bother me and I know I'm brand new so I'm probably making all kinds of rookie mistakes (like cutting off her foot in the first picture).

Nice shots for the first time out of the box. I'm relatively new to taking my love of photography to a higher level too and have found this forum to be most helpful. It could be me but the only thing I see in #1 is that it might be a tad underexposed, but it could also be simply how she has the glove up by her face too.

A bunch of equipment with Canon on it and some stuff with Sigma on it. The desire to capture a moment in time and share it with you! :)

Thanks! I know I have a lot to learn, but I think it will be fun doing it.

I think you did a good job. I like that you captured the facial expression in both pictures. That easier said than done. The face mask blocks the eyes, or the hands are in front of the face. That's what happen with me anyways. Try not chopping off the foot, or body parts. Nice job.
