Shutter on G2

Hi there.

When my G2 is switched off and I look directly through the lens at the closed shutter, it appears that one of the shutter leaf edges has 'peeled upwards' (the one just above the centre of the aperture). It all seems to function perfectly OK ... but is it normal? It is like a tiny, tiny finger pointing out at an angle. There are a couple of others below it that are flush with the surface.

Thanks.

Don't worry mike this is normal. I checked my G1 when I read about this somewhere (I think it was DPreview) and mine is the same. If I remember it was made this way to make sure the iris did not stick when it opens and closes. Have not checked my Pro90 but I'm sure it is the same. No worries.

Now that I read this, I looked at my G2 and it has the same thing.
