How did you learn to shoot glamour/models?

Where/how did you learn about lighting, studio setup, positions etc... Are there books out there that teach studio setup and lighting techniques etc.. Please point me in the right direction if there are any good tutorials available (books, online, etc...) Also, where did you learn your pp work for skin smoothing etc.. many thanks

There's books around that teach lighting and others which show set-ups. For me, it was a case of trial and error. I started off with Tungsten lights because they were cheap, I made some cash and bought flash/strobes.

Everything else has been a try it and see approach, still learning too.

learn what all the modifiers do, learn what they look like then close your eyes, visual and set up the lights to get what's in your head.
