I have a friend who is on holiday in the US at the moment and he is thinking of buying a 40D with the Tamron 18mm-250mm Di ll LD from Camera Addict.
Any feed back please on Camera Addict as per delivery to a address in the States.
Plus any knowledge on the Tamron lens would be a plus as well please.

Ordering from them is not a good idea no matter where you want it delivered.

DON'T DO IT!
Send your friend to a reputable store. There are many that offer reasonable prices.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

I would like to thank both of you for replying.
He did not buy from Camera Addict or any other mail order company.
The purchase was made in over the counter shop for $1375.with the EF 28-135mm IS USM. May be not the best price, but he could see and feel the goods and he's happy and that's the main thing.
