Problem with Canon PhotoRecord

At last I have solved the OPAPI11-problem, at least in my computer.

I just removed the DELL-feature, DellTouch, "press a button on the keyboard" and you access Dell support direct. I can live without this feature.

And reinstalled ZoomBrowser/PhotoRecor​d and at last I can add text and titles to the prints without getting the OPAPI11.DLL message.

Hope this will work for others than me.

I just got the A40 and...

I have a Compaq computer with tons of memory running Win98se. I have had nothing but problems with PhotoRecord. No need to go into details but it is the same as discused here.

I have also had some problems with the camera itself the biggest being the fact that I only get 2hrs run time vs. the specified 4hrs. Even with NiMH batteries the time is not much better.


Here is the reply from Canon:

Dear ----,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unfortunately we have not had this problem with other customers that are running Windows 98 before. We are sorry that your system failed to print from our software.

We do apologize for any inconveniences.


My solution:

I took the DAMN thing back and got a full refund!!!
