thanks a lot Jason
you are correct
:D

I was trying to find out before I posted those shots
but no luck
then I got a reply from a member of the military old vehicles club and he gave me a url to follow up about the bomber

there were photos there too
here are quotes re what was said

" Research has shown this was the longest serving Aircraft in the RAF

From 1954 to 2004
The IMVG have acquired a new travelling Exhibit, We think is the first of its type in Ireland

WH849 T4 Canberra Bomber

Sean and Eileen Travelled to the UK and purchased the Cockpit Section from GJD services the Weekend before theToys for Big Boys Show.

This was a major logistical exercise, only made possible by the generousity of a Club member who loaned us his Landie as the towing Vehicle.

As you can see we had to fit Clocks etc. back into the instrument panel

and then onto the Show

We put approx 1000 Children through the Cockpit in the 3 days, so the effort was well worth it. And no, we were not charging.

Why did we do this?

??

Its not about the Money, its about the look on a kids face when they sit in an Ejector seat for the first time.If we inspire one Child then it's worth it...

end of quotes
