Just finished editing a shoot with a new 2008 Porsche 9997 Turbo. Let me know what you think. No rig stuff here, been wanting to focus my attention on the more difficult to please the eye static shot.

#1, I'd like it if it was level
#2, this is may favorite, but the column kinda grows like a plant out of the roof, if there was the same shot 3-5ft in either direction, I think the curves would have complimented it more. And it's a bit over processed for *my* tastes
#3-#5 again the angle, I know it's a style thing for some people, but just makes my neck hurt because I'm not seeing the angle compliment the lines of the Porsche.
#6 I like the original angle, but I think that angle is better suited for a hatchback, because while showing off the exhaust, I can picture being asked, "Does this make my butt look big?"

Your exposures are dead on, and the images are very sharp, all technically sound. Also keep an eye on the shadows and reflections, not bad at first glance but the more my eyes study the image the more distracting they get. Did you use a CPL?

#2 for the win.

Like Motor On said, the pillar is somewhat distracting. Did you use a gradient on the windows, or is that straight from the camera. Also, you could crop out the bottom part, or clone it out. The asphalt is in a worse condition than higher up.

Good photo all around though.

-Thanks both for the posts.
-#2 is going to be an avatar for the owner. She is going to use it for her Porsche forum.
-#6 I know you think it may be an angle for hatchbacks but on a Porsche, you want the butt to look as fat as possible :) That is the owners favorite angle of the car too. Just what I have heard.
-Here is one without the angle of the camera:

That new angle is much kinder to my neck, I really like the sampling form the link in your signature. And for #6 as long as it was intentional (I tend to think the engine is in the wrong spot on the Porsche too, so I suppose it all fits, but the engine placement is a debate for a different forum:lol:).

Those Mountains from WA? looks alot like the rockies I drove through last week, they certainly do provide an excellent backdrop.

I could do without the angles. I think those shots done with the angle would be GREAT without it.

It looks very good in #2.

Sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to them, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image.
Some exceptions are "Show Me...", "Post your best...", Tutorials, etc.

I did do a shoot with Jason a while back. Shots turned out pretty good. I saw your thread with his car. Nice shots.

Thanks! I thought that #2 wasn't going to be that big of a hit but guess it was!
