13 bucks?! Woah thats pricey.

I gave up on stores giving you CD's full of badly scanned photos so I went out and bought a Canon LiDE 70.

Comes with a Film Adapter Unit so you can just scan slides and negatives straight into Photoshop at what res I want.

Slides as in photographic slides, ones that people usually project.

This scanner cost me £50 new. So Price should be thereabout.

I still shoot film, 99% B&W, since I enjoy developing it in a darkroom.

Usually, I am shooting tri-x. I also shoot 120 with my Holga

Here is a lot of useful info on shooting film on the cheap. I read through it this morning, and will be giving a few of the suggestions a try later this week when I finish up a few rolls.

You'd place the key all the way up and then take a picture. :D

I keep my unshot film inside the ammo can in my fridge:

I keep my slides/negatives in another couple of ammo cans in my closets. They're completely sealed keeping out air and moisture. You can pick them up from most Army surplus stores, I got mine from work ;)

Hell yeah!

I dont need to have food because I get free food at the chow hall just 100 feet from our dorms. Being in the military saves me a lot of money due to the benefits. Its amazing what you can buy when you dont have to pay rent, utilities, college tuition, or food.

Just and FYI, both Walgreens and Target are having sales on Photo CDs.

Walgreens is $0.99 for a cd plus developing.
