Apr 28, 2008 08:52 | #1 Was out shooting prothonotary warblers last Thursday and noticed 3 bobolinks. They are rare for Oklahoma as the books just show a migrating line through western OK (shot these in East-Central OK). We had 30mph+ winds and I was hand holding the 500 + 1.5tc in it and shooting at ISO 400 (accidentally left it at that from shooting warblers in the shade).  Everyday use: 7D2, 1.4x v3 Canon TC (sometimes the 2x v2 Canon TC), Canon 500mm f4 L IS USM; 6D, 24-105L

I have to get a dozen or so pictures to be matted and framed (I do the matting and framing) by Friday morning for the Nature Festival that is going on here this weekend.
