Was out shooting prothonotary warblers last Thursday and noticed 3 bobolinks. They are rare for Oklahoma as the books just show a migrating line through western OK (shot these in East-Central OK). We had 30mph+ winds and I was hand holding the 500 + 1.5tc in it and shooting at ISO 400 (accidentally left it at that from shooting warblers in the shade).
Not the best of pics, but good enough to show.
