Nice image - I like how you captured her focus on the lane.
You might want to try separating her som emore from the defender in the lane (maybe move a little to your left?) The depth is nice, but my eye is drawn to the defender a bit too much.
Where along the GA/SC border? I used to live in Athens a while back...

go tighter, too much dead space around and it takes the focus away from the game

agreed, that second image should be almost nothing but athletes. from the tiny image posted, the action looks good but I can't comment on anything else given the size of the pic.

Itz:

Learn how to crop your images in post processing and the impact will be much greater. Also, try and post them at a larger size so we can see them better! Your second image looks like one of the best you have ever posted but I can't really tell because it is so small!!

THNX FOR THE COMMENTS. I WILL CROP HOWEVER I USUALLY DONT WHEN I HAVE OVER 350 PHOTOS TO PROCESS. I AM TRYING TO GET BETTER AND WILL CONTINUE TO GROW. THE IMAGE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO UPLOAD UNTIL I MAKE IT SMALLERS SAID IT WAS TOO BIG..I WILL WORK ON HOW TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN OTHERWISE.

THNX AGAIN

Use longer focal length. Too much dead space. Not sure why you keep sayibng 85mm is too long.

Play -

Alot of the time, flashes are NOT permitted at these games, because it is very distracting to the players.

IZHAIR, If you upload a few images to flickr, there will be a link made so that you can post that link here. You copy the link, click on "insert image" and then you get to preview the post before you make the post live for us. I've never had flickr tell me that an image is too large.
