Thanx...I like the totem nature of the perch and sentry look of the pose...as for getting close...well, the shot is a 50% crop (i.e. full frame reduced from 350ppi to 175ppi and cropped), so the 300mm lens on the XT helps a lot...I'm very pleased with this combo...
