Hi
The Canon assignment comp wants images 4Mb or less but when I try and upload iot says that they will be resized to 1024x768 and if I want to maintain control I should resize - if I do that though my image gets distorted - how do I get an image that size when my cropped image is different also when I do that i lose a lot of image detail??\

Help
Thanks

A very simple way is to use the crop tool. Set the pixels per inch to1. Then set it to 1024 by 768 inches. When you carve out the crop the resulting image will be 1024 by 768.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

BTW, the loss of detail is unavoidable. You’re taking an image 3888 by 2592 and squeezing it into 1024 by 768. Somewhere you have to dump 2864 pixels horizontally and 2144 pixels vertically. That’s a lot of detail.
