Hey guys. I'm meeting with a couple this Thursday who are interested in hiring me to shoot their wedding in November. I want to be professional and personable, and just have a few questions.

1. What's a good meeting place? I had initially said my home (I live in an apartment, though), but am thinking perhaps a neutral location like a coffee shop (we are meeting at 4pm).

2. Should I have them fill out some kind of informational sheet when we meet even if they haven't paid a deposit/booked their wedding with me yet?

3. What are the best questions for ME to ask of the bride and groom, and are there any questions I should really be prepared to answer aside from the obvious?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Cafe's are easy. Just get to know them a little and what they want from their wedding photography.

I usually invite them to lunch or coffee and pay. It's the least I can do for not having a studio or office location suitable for walk-ins.

Lexi, that sounds like an interrogation. Think about what answers you really need and cut out the stuff that you'd kinda like to know, or at least make it casual.

Well it turned out good....i didn't really ask her each question i just let her talk and wrote down the answers....it was more casual than the list seems. Most of those questions get answered while she was just talking about the wedding.
