Birch Creek ATV Nationals (Danville, VA) April 26-27

I took 2206 pictures in roughly 11 hours.......only upped around 1/4 of them to my Webshots (the links). Below that I have posted a few of my favorites.......

FWIW I shot all weekend around 1/100 to 1/150......to get the blurred wheel affect.

I like them.. nice to see some other types of motorsport on the forum. last shot is the winner for me.

Expect to see alot of MX or XC pics from me. I am big into it, since I ride myself.

I am happy with most of them, however I made a crucial mistake while shooting all weekend. I am most tuned towards automobile racing, drag racing in particular, where you focus on the car (mainly headlights/front). So, my natural instinct made me focus on the ATV's. I now know to focus on the rider for the best picture......I guess learning on your own mistakes can be benefitting.

The first one stands out for me Darren...I haven't gone through all of them in your links but I've seen your work in the past..never dissapointing.

I need to brush up on my motocross shots...miss doing it.

Yeah you definately need to come out and shoot some riding.....
