OK, I don't get out much with the baby and all, but I do stay up late ALOT to edit stuff that I took back in Nov, which is the last time I went out and shoot a bunch of stuff for assignment, but didn't get to spend much time on because of dead line.

I am totally obsessed with Lucis Art. It gives that extra somthing to a photograph. All of these are done in lightroom, which I guess can be done in Camera Raw as well. If you go to the flickr set, there are download links under the image.

These all look very interesting, especially viewed even larger. I love the effect that Lucis Art gives to portraits.

I experimented with different techniques like this for a while and was pretty obsessed with it as well. I thought that these different techniques could be used on any and every image to make it more intriguing. However, as I let these images sit for a while and came back to them I would feel more and more that the originals were better.

What I'm trying to say is that, although the Lucis Art makes a great effect and often times does give that image the little extra something, a lot of the time I think just coming back to these images after a week or so will help you decide if they're what you are trying to acheive.
