I've been playing with a new technique this trip. I like it. I shall call it... 300.

Thank you.

I did almost all of the work in Lightroom. All the processing revolves around increasing the darker areas of the pictures, which is then offset by additional contrast or clipping the blacks.

1) Use the fill light slider to lighten the dark areas (I pushed it past the halfway mark)
2) Increase the black clipping (Again, past the halfway mark, pic will look really dark)
3) Increase the exposure / lighten sliders to offset the black clippings
4) Fine tune with the recovery, clarity, contrast and the dark curve sliders as needed

I find that this technique works well with buildings, but no so much with people.

It's like my quick HDR.

I need all the help I can get.

Great shots, love 1 and 3 (esp. 3).

Was that a friend of yours on the Velib' in 1? He's nuts cycling round the Arc de Triomphe roundabout, it's scary enough in a car :)

That was some random dude posing for a picture. I agree, it's a huge suicide circle!

None of these are HDR? All of them look like it.

Excluding the plane wing shot.

Nope, none are HDR. Cheap HDR I guess!

Thanks!
