Ok, I am a huge picture whore.... But it's only recently that I've gone from point/click to adjusting settings.

I'm currently waiting for my Canon PRO1 to arrive and I've been using a G5 but these pictures are from a Canon A95.

In all the modes, I had Macro enabled:
My question is why is this focus only on the complete center and everything else is blurred? And can this be adjusted/corrected manually before I take the picture?

Here are some of the images in question. All EXIF info can be found via: Saving the image locally and then right clicking, properties, summary etc. But I can type it all out if you want them...

Is it possible to use a smaller apeture (Higher F number) on your camera?
If so, try that and you should see a difference, i think.

On the second shot you used f2.8, that causes a very shallow depth of focus. Macro photography is very difficult to get good depth of focus anyway as far as i'm aware.

Good luck, let us know how you get on :)

Will...
