I like it a lot, maybe just bump down the highlights a touch, my eye keeps going right to the thorn in the bottom center that is almost pure white. Great shot though!

Great shot. I only think that the lighting should have been little more diffused. Those shadows almost looks like a extension of these things...

This is a great image first off no doubts about it, an excellent choice for B&W. I think what Kevin is trying to "highlight" is the shadows here, the subject is interesting enough with the angle and DOF used but the drastic contrast between highlight and shadow really make this image. Diffusing the light or going with color would not have been nearly as catching and probably would have made for a ho hum piece imo. Great work again, keep em coming.
